Device Quality & Standards
We hold the quality of our technology to high category standards.
Every Juul Labs global device manufacturing plant is required to enforce quality systems according to international medical device standards.
Battery Testing
The JUUL2 Device contains no user-serviceable parts, and the battery cannot be removed or altered by the consumer. JUUL batteries have limited charging capacity, designed with safety in mind. Our batteries and finished devices are put through rigorous testing to meet quality and safety standards.
We run forced failure tests to test our batteries for reliability and consistent performance at each stage of the design and production process in accordance with international safety standards.
Hardware & Reliability Testing
We conduct hardware tests for reliability in real-world scenarios. These include impact and drop testing to account for regular usage, as well as long term integrity in the reliability of the products.
The electrical system is specifically designed with multiple protections while charging as well as when in use.
The circuitry design, electrical current requirements, and battery, are designed to reduce the possibility of malfunctions.
JUUL2 pod Quality & Standards
The e-liquid in each JUUL2 pod is blended and filled in the USA in accordance with international manufacturing standards.
We conduct extensive testing of ingredients found in JUUL e-liquids and aerosols, including testing for harmful and potentially harmful constituents (HPHCs).
Vapour Testing
We fill the e-liquid for all JUUL2 pods in the United States, where we routinely test the ingredients and analytes in JUUL e-liquids and aerosols.
Panels of adult vapour users also test outgoing products for consistent flavour and performance.
Supplier Quality Standards
Each of our suppliers are required to conduct precise testing on the components they supply for manufacturing our products.
We perform audits on factories within the JUUL supply chain, their internal systems, and their manufacturing practices to maintain optimum quality.
All testing of JUUL products is conducted through reputable, independent third-party laboratories and we provide the results of these tests to regulatory bodies.
